What are Water Cooler Talks and how will I need to help?
Our team captains will also help assist and engage in "Water Cooler Talks" in between sports while campers rest and hydrate. Water Cooler Talks allow our participants and team captains to get to know each other a little bit better, creating the opportunity to form greater relationships between the teams throughout the week. There will be a representative there to lead the Water Cool Talk but Team Captains are expected to help control their group and assist the leader in the discussion.
What is the application process like?
After you have applied, you will get an email from one of our Rally representatives asking to set up a 10 minute interview. We use this time to get to know you a bit better and hear why you want to work with Rally. After the interview, you will be required to fill out a form for a mandatory background check. Once you’ve passed the check and we’ve spoken with you, we will alert you as to if you’ve been selected for camp!
What do I wear and bring?
Dress comfortably for an athletic day in the hot sun. We will provide two Rally Team Captain t-shirts that you will be required to wear each day, but plan to wear comfortably, athletic shorts and tennis shoes each day. Bring a hat, a refillable water bottle and sunscreen. It’s also beneficial to bring a small bag or bookbag that you can use to carry your things from station to station throughout the day.
