About

The All Star Team

The moment when a lot of us first fell in love with sports was because it was a chance to play. Playing sports was part of being a kid. It was a chance to cheer each other on, feel accepted and be a part of a team.

At Rally, our goal is to tap into the essence of sports: play. Sports are not just the winning touchdown, the 4th quarter buzzer-beater or the walk-off home run. When we were kids, sports was a universal desire to get outside and have fun with your friends. At a time when kids are being molded into competitors at an increasingly younger age, we want to bring the value of sports back to its roots - being active, working together and having fun. That is what Rally is all about.

Throughout the week, Rally campers will play sports like flag football, basketball, wiffle ball, and soccer while also participating in other fun team activities and friendly competitions. For each sport, campers will be divided into teams with team captains and will play together throughout the week. Our week of play will culminate with a fun camp relay race for all teams.

The ZeroZero Foundation

The ZeroZero Foundation believes a child’s potential extends beyond their athletic ability. We aim to broaden a child’s perspective and identify their passions to help them achieve a career path in sports.

The ZeroZero Foundation is a not for profit organization in Birmingham, Alabama with the vision of creating an equitable playing field for all through the transcendent world of sports. ZeroZero will serve as a collaborative partner to other community-based organizations across Birmingham by developing long-term strategic events, experiences and education that champion their existing causes and promote new career paths and opportunities for their students through the power of sports.

Rally Camp takes place in Phase 01 of ZeroZero. Phase 01's goal is to provide kids with the access to sports they may have not had before. The goal of Rally Camp is to introduce children to the structure, values and social engagement opportunities within a world in which they instinctively feel comfortable — play. We hope to create an experience of competition through a lens that isn’t focused directly on winning and losing but in the passion for playing. After all, a child will never be passionate about a career path in sports if they aren’t first intrigued by the concept of play IN sports.
